Questions
Which countries and currencies do you support?+
Every EU and EEA currency, sterling, the Swiss franc, and the US, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand and Singapore dollars, Japanese yen and Korean won. Statements are read in local date and decimal conventions, so 1.234,56 and 1,234.56 both land correctly.
Can you connect to my bank directly?+
Not yet. Today you upload statements or exports, which works with every bank we cover. Open-banking links for the EEA and UK are on the roadmap, and your ledger will merge with them when they arrive.
How is my data protected?+
Documents are encrypted in your browser with a passphrase only you know, using PBKDF2-SHA256 and AES-GCM 256, before anything is stored. The passphrase never leaves your device. Two-factor authentication is required on every account, and email verification and a strong password are enforced at sign-up. AI prompts are sent once and not retained. Settings shows exactly what is encrypted and what is not.
Will AI usage cost me a fortune?+
No. Every plan has a clear allowance, the limits are enforced on our servers with rolling daily caps and a burst guard, and a live meter shows what is left before you spend it.
Where is my data stored?+
In the European Union. financ.ee is an EU-based service, we set no tracking cookies, and you can export or erase everything from Settings at any time.
Is this financial advice?+
No. financ.ee gives information and modelling based on the data you provide. It is not regulated financial, tax or legal advice.
What if I run out of AI credits?+
Buy a one-off pack: 500, 1,400 or 3,600 credits, bought once and used whenever. Packs start at €10, sit on top of your monthly allowance, never expire, and cost a little more per credit than the subscription rate. You can pay in EUR, GBP, DKK, NOK, SEK, CHF, CZK, HUF, PLN or RON. Nothing renews automatically.
